As we step into a season of reflection and new beginnings, OBOL is grateful to continue our mission of compassion, for animals and the people who love them. Here’s a look at some of the meaningful moments we shared this past week:
Helping Families Experiencing Homelessness
OBOL partnered with LA Family Housing to deliver pet food and supplies to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness. For so many, their pets are a lifeline of love and stability. We are proud to help HOPICS relieve the pain of homelessness by ensuring pets have food, comfort, and care. A special thank you to James for making this distribution possible.
Meeting Max at West Valley Animal Shelter
We visited the West Valley Animal Shelter, where we met Max, a handsome one-year-old pup full of energy and love. Max, like so many other shelter pets, is waiting for his second chance at a forever home. Thanks to our donors and supporters, OBOL supplies help make that wait a little easier by providing comfort and care.
Delivering Aid to Baja, Mexico
Thanks to our amazing partner Allyson Joyner, OBOL sent medical supplies and essentials for dogs and cats to organizations in Baja. These lifesaving donations, given to Roja Cruz and Volunteers Without Limits & SNIP Clinic, will ensure that animals in need, and the people who love them, get vital care. From medical supplies to stuffed animals for comfort, OBOL’s impact continues to cross borders and bring hope where it’s needed most.
Supporting Catsnippers and Veterans
We are proud to stand alongside our rescue partners Catsnippers and Eastwood Ranch in supporting the residents of the VA. Together, we provided essential assistance, proving once again that it takes a village. We thank all veterans for their service and are honored to support their beloved pets.
Whether it’s families facing homelessness, animals in shelters, or veterans in need, OBOL is there, rescuing the rescuers and giving hope where it’s needed most.
