As Fall Arrives, many homeless dogs and cats will spend their days and nights inside shelters. We are confident, since you are animal advocates to make sure OBOL continues to comfort many thousands of shelter animals so they do not suffer in their miserable settings. OBOL donates hundreds of blankets and pet beds to shelters because there is no budget for any comfort items. When you put soft bedding down they are happier, more relaxed, more outgoing and feel safe and secure. This increases their chance of being adopted.

Back to School, We’re Here to H.E.L.P.
This fall, OBOL’s Humane Education Learning Program (HELP) returned to classrooms and youth groups across Southern California.
Reaching students from preschool to high school and youth groups, the program empowers children with lessons on compassion, kindness, and the responsibilities of caring for animals.
During each session, students receive our bilingual How to Care for Your Pet Pals – Be Kind to Animals, coloring activity workbook, packed with interactive lessons and activities. But it’s more than just education, it’s about giving kids the chance to take action by organizing pet supply drives that directly help local shelters and animals in need.

Behind every blanket, bag of food, and toy OBOL delivers is a community of animal lovers who make it possible, and our Compassionate Givers are the heart of that mission.
With as little as $5 a month (17¢/day), you help us reach over 35,000 animals every year, keep rescue groups stocked, provide blankets to shelters, and respond to emergencies fast. Ana of The DeTommaso Dogs shows how one family can make a real difference in their community. With limited resources but endless determination, she has become a voice for the voiceless.
OBOL is proud to support Ana’s work with food, supplies, education workbooks, medicine, crates, and comfort items that extend her reach.
Ana and her family not only care for animals in need, but also run spay/neuter campaigns and brings OBOL’s humane education booklets to children breaking the cycle of homelessness before it begins.
Together, we’re proving that when OBOL ad rescues unite, every act of compassion creates ripples of change for good, saving the lives of thousands of animals.

OBOL is already gearing up to meet that need. With your support, we’ll deliver record numbers of life-saving supplies to ensure that homeless animals aren’t forgotten this holiday season.
