Standing Strong with the LA Strong Foundation
On November 7th, the LA Strong Foundation brought together volunteers, first responders, and community organizations for a night of unity and celebration at the UCLA vs. Pepperdine Basketball Game at Pauley Pavilion.
The evening honored the strength and resilience of those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, and OBOL was deeply honored to be among the partners recognized for their ongoing fire relief work.

Rescues Fed, Comfort Restored
Across California, local rescues continue to feel the impact of compassion — and this week, OBOL received heartfelt shoutouts from several of our amazing rescue partners.

OBOL’s commitment to compassion extends to our nation’s heroes. Through our Veterans Program, we provide warm blankets, comfort items, and pet supplies to veterans in need — ensuring that they and their beloved animals never go without care.
For many veterans, their pets are more than companions — they’re a source of stability, comfort, and emotional healing. OBOL proudly supports these relationships by donating food, bedding, leashes, and supplies to veterans living in transitional housing, supportive programs, or experiencing homelessness.
Our goal is simple: to honor their service with compassion — by helping both veterans and their pets find comfort and connection. 💛
