Each week, OBOL’s mission is made real by the animals we serve and the people we support. This week was full of heartwarming highlights! From generous rescues and thoughtful Girl Scouts to senior dog smiles and cross-border outreach, here’s how we’ve been #RescuingTheRescuer.
🦴 Treats for Our Furry Friends
Our OBOL friend Staci Wilkes shared a sweet shoutout from “the boys,” who are loving their donated Oinkies treats! “Thank you, OBOL Eileen and Brad, for all you do for animals in need!”
Nothing beats a happy pup with a treat in his mouth and love in his heart.
🎖️Girl Scouts Earn Silver, Celebrate Service
Congrats to Girl Scout Troop 3006 for earning their Silver Award, one of the highest honors in the Girl Scouts!
The troop credited OBOL and their community partners for helping them along their journey.
“Onward to GOLD!”, they say. We’re cheering them on every step of the way.
🐕 Mom Kona’s Pups Enjoy Some Bones
From Ana DeTommaso in Tijuana: We shared a joyful moment as mom Kona and her babies enjoyed donated chew bones courtesy of OBOL. Keeping rescue pups enriched, nourished, and happy is what your support makes possible.
🐾 Ventura County Support Visit
Eileen stopped by Ventura County Animal Services to meet with Carol Almos, their amazing Volunteer Program Manager.
We’re grateful to partner with shelters that are committed to saving lives and giving every animal a chance.
🎥 OBOL x Dulce Vida Rescue Shoutout
A big thank-you came in from @dulcevidarescue, who shared heartfelt appreciation in a video clip:
“Thank you @obolpaws for supporting our rescues with supplies. We love you!”
We love you too—and we’re honored to support your work.
