I was walking rescue dogs after losing my Maltese to a dog attack for two years and grieving the loss really badly when Molly came into the rescue and won my heart.
She had been in an abusive gang member’s home where the boyfriend kicked Molly around. Luckily she was rescued and I wanted her but some man was taking her home. I didn’t get a good vibe from the man. Well a month later he dumped her back at the rescue so I said I would foster her. That lasted four days and I was never letting her go. She was frozen with fear. It took two months before she could bark. Now she is my loving angel. We saved each other and she lives a well loved life and is a neighborhood favorite. I am not sure at times who is in charge!
