How do blankets help save lives?

Soft comfort items help homeless animals become more adoptable.

OBOL_blanketside2

Blankets, towels, and beds keep shelter pets off the ground, insulate them from cold floors, cushion their joints, and provide each animal its own space.

Now warm and comfy, these poor shelter animals can relax. Their ears perk up, and they become more affectionate. A more home-like setting also makes it easier for prospective owners to imagine a new pet in their home.

By donating a blanket, you actually save two lives: One life when an animal is adopted and another life when that vacancy in the shelter makes room for another homeless animal.

On behalf of the San Bernardino City Animal Control, we would like to thank Blankets of Love for the generous donation of blankets, dog beds, horse blankets, leashes, towels, food dishes and treats.  We also would like to thank you for the bilingual coloring books to assist the public with proper handling of animals. We sincerely appreciate your help and hope your generosity will come back to you 100-fold.
