OBOL was so honored to be chosen by the multi-talented and beautiful Jordyn Taylor whose 12 Months of Giving initiative selects an organization each month to recognize. February was all about helping homeless animals, and we loved talking with and collecting much needed pet supplies with Jordyn.

At the top of the year I started an initiative called 12 Months of Giving, where every month we highlight an organization that is doing incredible work to create lasting change in the world.
February was dedicated to the unbelievable efforts of Operation Blankets of Love. Founder Eileen Smulson, her husband Brad and Mascot Molly made our partnership a memorable one.
We began the month with an interview with Eileen, introducing OBOL to my social media sphere. We shared a wonderful conversation about the needs of local shelter animals and how 12MoG can be a service.
On February 20th & 21st, my crew of volunteers came together to conduct a Drive Thru Donation Collection. We asked our patrons for lightly used and new pet beds, blankets, toys, food and treats. Our community SHOWED UP for our furry friends. The response was overwhelming and so inspiring.
I am so grateful for our newfound connection with Eileen and her organization. A partnership has become family.
